Paying Attention Will Save Your Life

• While driving, refrain from talking with your hands if someone else is in your vehicle. Also, don’t feel that you need to look at this person when speaking to them. Keep your eyes on the road.
• Remember that cell phones and all other distractions increases your changes of having an accident. If you must use your cell phone, pull over to the side of the road or install a hands-free device in your vehicle.
• The left lane of an interstate highway is for passing. By staying out of the left lane (and in one of the right lanes) when not passing, reduces social stress on the highways which makes it safer for everyone. Slower traffic should always stay to the right.
• Buckle up for Safety- Remember to always wear your seatbelt, even if the ride is just around the corner.
