Personal Umbrella Insurance

What is an umbrella policy?

A Personal Umbrella is a policy that extends the liability coverage provided by your auto, homeowners, motorcycles, recreational vehicle, and boatowners insurance policies. It provides:

High Limits: Limits of $1 million or more can protect you after your current policies have paid their full limits.

Broader Coverage: Personal Umbrellas pay some liability losses not covered by your current policies

Defense Coverage: The costs of legal defense can be staggering and must be paid even if you win. An Umbrella pays these fees in addition to you umbrella limit of insurance.

Your Personal Umbrella Policy Automatically Covers You If:

You are sued because of an accident which occurs when you let someone else drive your car

You are driving a car furnished to you by your employer

You do volunteer work for a non-profit charitable, religious, or civic organization

You use a rented or borrowed boat

While you are traveling, anywhere in the world

Policy Options:

Excess Uninsured and Underinsured Motorists

This enhancement provides additional coverage for you and your passengers if you are injured by a motorist who is either not insured or has liability limits lower than your limits. Your auto policy provides some coverage, but when those limits are exhausted, the Umbrella Policy, if you select this upgrade, would provide coverage for you and/or your passengers.

We have several markets that write Personal Umbrella’s, please give us a call today for a no-obligation quote.
